This Is A True Clear Invention!

Monday, February 28th, 2011

The 3m clear bra is a wonderful invention for any car-lover who treats his prized possession like a true friend. A man’s best friend is not always the family dog. Sometimes a car can take the place of a great pet and nothing hurts more than seeing that first scratch or dent on your favorite automobile.  However, traditional protective bras are not the most attractive option for car owners who want to protect their investments.  The problem with the traditional protective covering is simply due to the fact that it covers the magnificent machine. No real car enthusiast wants to hide his prized automobile under a rubbery surface. He doesn’t want to spend a lot of money on the perfect finish to cover it up with a protective layer. Unfortunately, many car owners had to choose between chips and scrapes or hiding the finish.  In places around Honda Dealers Missouri, you have all kinds of marks on your vehicles, due to inclement weather.

Not anymore.  A car enthusiast can opt for a 3m clear bra that protects the car by creating a colorless barrier between the car’s finish and the elements. The 3m clear bra is simply a protective film that is literally painted over the car’s exterior. This product is commonly used on trucks, cars and vans of vehicle owners who cringe at the thought of a pebble getting near their priceless object.  The 3m clear bra is also used to protect headlights as well. The protective layer is commonly applied to the front of the vehicle and on the lenses of the headlights. The beauty of this material is that it is virtually undetectable. The original design of the vehicle is not changed in any way.  The owner has the peace of mind that comes with knowing that the car is protected while having the luxury of enjoying his vehicle in its original state.  St. Charles Nissan Dealership prefers customers to add this to their vehicle, helps with resale value.

Some may wonder if the product is really as effective as the traditional protective cover. The 3m clear bra will protect the vehicle from chipping.  Living in areas that are rough like Nissan Dealership Philadelphia, you can only wonder what is on the road sometimes, this helps that luxury car stay luxurious.  The material was originally designed to be used on aircraft propellers to protect them from chipping. Surely the material will be effective at preventing chipping on vehicles as well.   Another concern is the quality of the clarity of the 3m clear bra. How clear is it, really? The manufacturer of the product boasts that the material is virtually undetectable unless the vehicle is very white in color. The clear coat is slightly visible on a stark white car when very close but it is not detectable from a distance. You will see a faint line where the 3m clear bra stops but that is better than an ugly bug shield or paint chips.

Kia Soul Keeps You Safe

Sunday, February 6th, 2011

Drivers looking for a safe vehicle have plenty of options on the market right now, and you can visit the IIHS website to see which vehicles they are deeming to be the safest for 2011.  We can tell you right now that the line up from Middletown Kia Dealers is safer than ever, and drivers are overly fond of the 2011 Kia Soul.  This cute little car is a truly unique design that you either love or hate at first sight, but perhaps once you visit Kia Dealer Washington to learn about all of its great features, you can overlook its trendy appearance.  Of course you could always run across the street to Vineland Hyundai if you are seeking something more timeless in terms of exterior design.

What surprises consumers the most about the 2011 Kia Soul, besides its amazingly low price, is the hefty amount of safety equipment that it offers.  Usually, when you are spending less than $20,000 on a vehicle, you would expect to get a lower quality of safety features, and that is just how things go for the auto world.  However, the Kia Soul comes with antilock brakes as well as electronic stability control.  In addition to active head restraints, there are front side airbags plus side-curtain airbags.  The NHTSA gives the Kia Soul a rating of four stars for frontal crashes and five stars for side impact crashes.  The IIHS has awarded the Kia Soul its best rating of “good” for all of the crash test areas, even its new side crash test.

In terms of performance, the Kia Soul gives you two engines to choose from.  The base engine is a 1.6-liter four cylinder engine that puts out a mere 122 horsepower plus 115 pound feet of torque.  The majority of the vehicles sold feature the larger 2.0-liter four cylinder that produces 142 horsepower plus 137 pound feet of torque.  There are four trim levels for the 2011 Kia Soul; the base Soul, Soul+, Soul!, and Soul Sport.  You will find the larger engine on the top three trim levels and the majority of drivers admit to preferring the automatic transmission when compared to the performance you get from the manual gearbox.

Turn the Key and GO!

In these tough economic times, people are trying to save as much money as possible and that includes buying the most fuel efficient vehicles they can find over at Chevrolet Dealers Lubbock.  Sadly, when people finally get those vehicles home, they end up wasting tons of their hard-earned money by letting their vehicles unnecessarily idle.  We understand that no one wants to climb into their Vineland Ford vehicle if it is freezing cold in the mornings, but there has to be a better way to get your car to a comfortable temperature without letting it run in your driveway for five minutes or so.  While people are thankful for the remote start that some of the cars at Chevrolet Dealership Peoria come with, remote start can reduce your fuel economy because you let your car run too long while idling.

There are some simple things you can do to help save you money and keep you warm in your car.  Vehicles with fuel injection really only need between 10 and 30 seconds when you first start the car to let the oil get moving; then, it is safe to drive and won’t harm the engine whatsoever.  Plus, the car will actually “warm up” faster if you are driving rather than sitting in your driveway.  Some cities across the wintery regions of the country have actually enacted anti-idling ordinances because of the increased levels of pollution that an idling car creates.

A lot of these cities claim that idling releases extra levels of emissions and creates poor breathing environments for you and your neighbors.  When your vehicle is idling it is harmful to the engine because it is using a gasoline-rich technique that can damage the engine over time and causes an increase of carbon residue inside the engine.  One organization even estimates that if you idle daily in the mornings to warm up your car you can waste up to twenty gallons of gas per year!

Nissan Maxima Gets Better With Time

Thursday, January 6th, 2011

There are so many fantastic sedans available over at Syracuse Ford Dealers right now that it is tough to make the right choice.  The good news is that plenty of other brands besides American auto companies are making high quality sedans with tons of features.  Take, for instance, the 2011 Nissan Maxima.  This sedan offers luxury that is perfectly intertwined with family features all wrapped up in an affordable price.  Just like at Ford Augusta, you can easily go well above the base price when you add on the packages!  However, unlike the vehicles at Honda Dealers Los Angeles, the options for the Maxima are grouped in packages and there are very few individual options that you are able to purchase.

Like previous years, the Maxima comes in two trim levels for the 2011 year; S and SV.  All of your optional features are only available on the SV trim level, but even then the highest package comes in at only $36,760.  There have been a few minor changes for 2011 and they include some new exhaust tips on all models.  Also, if you decide to go with the popular Sport package, you will notice that your headlights are now smoked, your grille is a darker chrome that stands out from the rest of the crowd, and the interior features gray stitching.  Not too many changes but enough so that you can tell the difference between the new and the old!

Current Nissan Maxima drivers love the power under the hood and report that they feel like they are driving more of a performance luxury sedan than what you would expect for the price.  The 2011 model Maxima comes loaded with nearly 300 horsepower, which is quite a bit more than you average family sedan!  The handling is smooth thanks to its chassis that has been perfected over the years.  Inside, you feel the quality of the materials that Nissan chose to use for their Maxima.  Nothing looks like it is going to break in a couple of years and there are plenty of standard features to keep you satisfied.  Drivers are also reporting that the optional navigation system is incredibly easy to use, much more so than what you find in the more luxurious vehicles.

Be Green to Save Money

Sunday, December 26th, 2010

Do you remember the cash for clunkers program that took place last year?  Well, there was some merit to the concept and idea behind the whole program.  There are plenty of great new cars from Middletown Nissan that offer amazing fuel economy and reduced emissions into the environment.  If more Americans will stop driving their broken and outdated vehicles then they would save money on fuel costs and reduce their carbon footprint.  While we understand that not everyone can afford to upgrade to a new Nissan Cambridge car right at this moment, so there are some tips you can adhere to in the meantime to improve your commuting costs.

The best way to save money and reduce your carbon footprint is to take advantage of public transportation in your daily commute.  Not only does this reduce the wear and tear on your current car, it reduces the amount of traffic on the roads.  Play with that idea in your mind for a moment and if more people were using public transportation and removing their cars from the daily commute then traffic would flow faster and smoother every day.  An alternative to this idea that ends up with almost as good of results is to carpool.  You will get to know your employees and maybe they can even let you know when the Nissan Darien Rebate is being offered so you can upgrade your vehicle.

Finally the last couple ways to improve your fuel consumption on your daily commute is to look at how your driving habits are impacting your fuel mileage.  Idling is the biggest waste of gas that all of us do.  If you are going to be idling for more than one minute, just turn your car off until you will be moving again.  Remember, when you are idling you are getting 0 mpg.  Another helpful hint is to travel at slower speeds.  Not only will your commute be safer with less chances of having a motor vehicle collision but you will increase your fuel miles per gallon.

What kind of safety do you need in your vehicle?

Thursday, September 30th, 2010

Ford Dealer New York has an amazing line up of luxury and working class vehicles waiting for you with great deals and low prices. Also make sure you check out the amazing line up of vehicle at Acura Dealer Conneticut. Along with all of their low prices. When ever you are shopping for a vehicle new or used you need to know what you need out of a vehicle. If you are the only person riding and driving in it rear air bags wont do you much good. However, if you have a family of six rear air bags might want to be on your check list. Safety is important in a vehicle and on a road. Keep in mind to check out all of the fun vehicles for great prices at Jeep Dealer New Haven.

Having new technologies in vehicles is a good thing, but you might want to know what features you need in your vehicle. A rear view camera is perfect for any large size vehicle. This feature can help you see the kids playing in the drive way, or it can help you see the stack of lumber stacked behind your truck at the job site. Some safety features work in all all situations, but others don’t work at all unless they are made for what you need.

Curve control is a great safety feature for some one who lives on winding roads, but if you live in a place where most of the roads are strait and flat you don’t really need it. Safety in a vehicle is about having protection. Another feature that works for every one is blind spot prevention systems. This safety feature can help prevent accidents you can’t even see. Over all just making sure you get what you need out of a vehicle is a good idea. Having amazing safety features is not going to help you if you can’t use them.

Are Our Cars Too Safe?

Tuesday, September 14th, 2010

People can easily become paranoid in our high tech society.  There are tons of “big brother” conspiracies out there, and some people are dead set against the GPS navigation systems that come on cars like the ones found at Dayton Chevrolet.  In our world of bigger is better and continuously evolving technology, there are some items that have been put on the vehicles from Boston Mazda and dealerships across the country that have proved to be more harmful than helpful.

Without a doubt, the standard safety features that increasing competition among auto makers have provided drivers have saved countless lives.  Even the luxurious line up at Birmingham Jaguar now offers more standard safety features than before.  When one brand does it, other car makers have to follow suit.  What about the overwhelming technology, like heated windshield washer fluid and side mirrors that defrost?  They seemed like a great idea, and would really help out in winter climate regions.  But, many of the vehicles with those features were recalled because there was a chance the wiring would catch on fire.  As of yet, the problem has not been resolved and the systems have been disabled by dealerships.

There is always room for improvement.  When airbags were first released, people were being injured more from the airbag deploying than they would have been from the fender bender they were part of!  Engineers tweaked the systems and laws were put into place requiring car seats and smaller passengers to ride in the backseats.  The number of fatalities from auto accidents has dramatically decreased in recent years, which is surprising considering the increase of drivers on the roads.

Drivers need to learn about the features of their vehicles.  Toyota’s famous recall turns out to be driver error rather than shifting floor mats or sticky accelerators.  People with the push button ignitions need to remember how to turn their vehicle off in an emergency; there is no key to switch off, you have to depress the button for a couple seconds.  With advancements in Bluetooth talk-to-text technology, drivers should be less distracted.

Sakichi Toyoda – Amazing Japanese Inventor and Founder of Toyota

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

Sakichi Toyoda is a national hero to Japan and was a great industrial entrepreneur. He is referred to as the King of Japanese Inventors and the Japanese Thomas Edison. He was born in Kosai, Shizuoka in 1867 and died in 1930. Toyoda founded many inventions including the automatic power loom which he implemented using the principle of autonomous automation, Jidoka. Jidoka means that the machine stops itself when a problem occurs instead of having human intervention. This principle later became part of the Toyota Production System.

The story of Sakichi Toyoda is studed by every Japanese school child. Even as late as 1985 he was listed as one of the ten most important inventors in Japanese history. The textile company he founded eventually gave birth to Toyota Motor Corporation. In a study of Japan technological advances it was noted that from the seventeenth to the twenty-first century Japanese researchers were skilled and original inventors, but had a weakness in commercializing the ideas. An exception to this observation is of course, Toyoda Loom Works. Sakichi Toyoda developed ideas and his son Kiichiro put into place large scale research and extensive prototype and mill testing to refine his father’s inventions.

There were three quantum leaps in technological advances by the Toyoda Loom Works which were a narrow loom, iron broad loom and the automatic loom invention. Continuous technological leaps were required to sustain the development process. Each leap in technology required upgraded equipment and engineering know how as well as sufficient capital resources.

This amazing technology development by Toyoda brings to light some phenomena not well known. Toyoda’s relationship with the general trading company Mitsui Bussan was strained periodically as the entrepreneurial company demanded an individual development path. Mitsui Bussan provided critical access to finance and markets.

There was a strong rivalry between the first and second companies that Sakichi Toyoda founded, the Toyoda Loom Works and Toyoda Automatic Loom Works. Toyoda sustained relationships of mutual support with key technologists.

Toyoda played a leading role in the introduction of the American system of interchangeable parts into Japanese manufacturing. This was essential to the commercial success of mechanical inventions and eventually let to the Toyota cars of today. Industrial researched was organized and played a leading role early at Toyoda. Their efforts to develop new textile technology prompted competition and promoted the development of human and technical resources that rivals sought to mobilize. However Toyoda’s strategy and structure led to the domination of these rivals.

The Toyota Production System

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

toyotaThe Toyota Production System is a well known system developed by Toyota that encompasses its management philosophy and practices. This system is a precursor of the lean manufacturing system. The Toyota Production System was developed by Taiichi Ohno, Shigeo Shingo and Eiji Toyoda between 1948 and 1975. The system was originally called Just In Time Production and it drew on the work of W. Edwards Deming and Henry Ford.

The main objectives of the Toyota Production System are to design out overburden and inconsistency and eliminate waste. A process is designed the is capable of delivering the required results smoothly by designing out inconsistencies. The process must be as flexible as necessary without stress since this generates waste. The tactical improvements of waste reduction and elimination of inconsistencies are valuable.

Seven kinds of waste are addressed by the Toyota Production System: over production, motion of the operator or machine, waiting of the operator or machine, conveyance, processing, inventory of raw material and correction such as reworking and scrap. The removal of waste has dominated the thinking of many when they look at the effects of the system, because it is the most familiar of the three objectives to implement. Many times the system is implemented to remove inconsistencies and overburdens without specially focusing on waste, but yet waste is driving out of the process due to the two other objectives.

The Toyota Production System is the most responsible for having made Toyota the company it is today. Toyota did not receive its inspiration in the concept by visiting the Ford production line, but by visiting a supermarket. A delegation from Toyota visited the United States in the 1950s and toured several Ford plants but found the methods not very effective. They found the large amounts of inventory on the site, uneven work in the factory on most days and large amount of rework at the end of the process to be inefficient.

The group was inspired when they visited a local Piggly Wiggly supermarket and saw how the grocery store only reordered and restocked goods when they had been purchased by customers. Toyota applied this inspiration by reducing the amount of inventory to only a level that their employees would need for small amount of time, then reorder. This was the precursor of the Just In Time inventory system in use today at Iowa City Toyota.

Low inventory is key, but an important element of the system is to work intelligently and eliminate waste so that inventory is no longer needed. Many American businesses, unlike Minot car dealerships, set out to attack high inventory levels based on the success of the Toyota system, without understanding the underlying philosophy and led to their failure.

Higher Standards?

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

Before you buy any where make sure you check out all of the amazing deals on modern luxury at Volkswagen along with their amazing line up of vehicles. Also make sure you check out the amazing line up of vehicles and deals at Memphis Dodge Chrysler Dealers! Standards are on the rise in the automotive world. After so many recalls by many automotive companies this year people began to lose their trust in the standards of their vehicle. Keep in mind to check out Saturn Service if you need a little help with your dream car.

However, there has been a come back by every auto company out there. They are bring back their standards in a whole new way, and they didn’t stop there. They are also pushing the bar in their standards to make them better then ever before, but they are not just going with the basic standards. Auto companies are pushing for high standards in everything from safety to luxury. Keep in mind that every auto company has their own set of standards, and what really matters is what you want out of your vehicle.

Many of the automotive companies are pushing the bar in safety first. They have created everything from new brakes to inflatable seat belts. Safety is leading they way in the standards race, and right behind it is fuel efficiency. Standards are no longer falling in the automotive world, but they are rising higher then ever before.

The go green effort has pushed many automotive companies to rethink and rebuild their vehicle. They are  pushing to lower emissions and increase MPG. They are pushing the go green effort ford in about every way, and because of this new hybrids have arrived. These hybrids are like any other in their class because they are working trucks and SUV.
