Ford offers top of the line pickups;
Wednesday, March 30th, 2011
Ford’s latest pickups, which can be purchased from a Midland Ford Dealer, are some of the top models on the market. The Ford Range for 2011 is the top small pickup on the market in terms of fuel economy, and the Ranger is a major competitor to models sold at a Honda Dealership Carson. Ford has released models that are in line with the company’s strategy to produce high quality fuel efficient vehicles. Also, models sold at RI Used Cars dealership are also fuel efficient and economical. Ford buyers have been looking for a combination of power and fuel efficiency, and the latest Ford models have delivered this.
The EPA made a list of the most and least efficient trucks, and two Ford pickups made the list. The Ford Ranger is equipped with a 3.7 liter V6 engine which is the most fuel efficient engine in its segment. Ford’s F-150 is also the most fuel efficient vehicle in its own segment, and thus Ford owns the top positions for fuel efficient models in those markets, similar to other markets that the company sells models for. The 2011 Ford F-150 with its 3.7 liter V6 engine is the most fuel efficient non-hybrid full size pickup. It gets a combined city and highway fuel rating of 19 mpg. The Ranger is the most fuel efficient compact pickup a combined rating of 24 mpg.
With gas prices rising lately, fuel economy has been a major concern for pickup owners. Ford’s pickup models combine fuel economy with amazing power for their size, and their new models meet the need for many pickup owners. Gas prices have risen throughout the country to over $3.50 per gallon in many locations, and with no signs of slowing down soon, it is critical that new models are fuel efficient in order to be able to complete in the future. Ford will continue to produce fuel efficient models.

Friday, February 18th, 2011
When it comes to midsize SUVs, there are some really great products on the market right now. Drivers have always been fond of the Explorer over at Ford Dealership Ontario, but they have never really been excited by it. The Ford Explorer (pictured at left) returns for the 2011 production year with a few new upgrades that brings it up to speed with the rest of the competition. Another vehicle that has been freshened up to current standards is the Jeep Grand Cherokee, which can be found at Wallingford Jeep Dealer. People who are searching for these midsize SUVs usually need the best passenger capacity, cargo space, and a decent amount of towing capacity. Luckily, Ford Dealers Dickinson has more than a few great choices for shoppers, but given the amount of competition out there, they had better keep making improvements every year!
In terms of rugged ability, the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the 2011 Ford Explorer each have a few tricks up their sleeves. Of course, you are never going to find the absolute perfect vehicle for your needs, but these two offer some great choices. In terms of size, the Explorer is larger all around than the Grand Cherokee. For 2011, there are now three rows of seats that come standard in the Ford Explorer so you can carry up to seven passengers. The Jeep Grand Cherokee (pictured at right) still can only carry five passengers, but does manage to offer a bit more cargo room. With all the seats in use, there is 21 cubic feet of cargo room in the Explorer compared to 34.5 cubic feet in the Grand Cherokee.
The towing capacity is different this year for the Ford Explorer, which used to be able to tow over 7,000 pounds. Forget the Kids, Focus on the Baby Boomers!
Sunday, January 30th, 2011
While you might think that the vehicles from Ontario Porsche Dealership are starting to appeal to a younger crowd because of their flashy advertising techniques, you would be wrong. The largest buying power right now comes from the Baby Boomers because they are the largest demographic in our country. Plus, people who are close to retirement age have far more money to spend at Mercedes Dealer Virginia than your average young buyer. Some might argue that young shoppers are the ones to target because they are more influenced by peer pressure and the media to have the latest and greatest technology, but the bottom line is that most of the younger shoppers can’t afford the vehicles from MD Mercedes Dealers. This proves that targeting the Baby Boomer generation might be the best for sales.
You are a member of the Baby Boomer generation if you were born between 1946 and 1964, and it is estimated that there are about 77 million members of this generation. It has already been shown that in 2010 shoppers over the age of 50 spent about $87 billion on vehicle purchases while the crowd under 50 years old only spent $70 billion. The older generation groups want to be comfortable in their vehicles but they also car about what type of car they are driving. While their parents might have preferred a Lincoln Town Car or Grand Marquis, many people are quite comfortable in the affordable luxury that Cadillac and Lincoln are offering in their modernized creations.
Despite the sheer numbers for the Baby Boomers’ buying power, we still see auto makers advertising for the younger crowd. Perhaps no one wants to see someone with gray hair on their television commercial or they might fear that the group of young buyers they do have would be turned off knowing that the vehicle they are driving is also popular with their parents or grandparents. It will be interesting to see how the advertisements continue to change as auto makers are realizing that they are ignoring their largest target audience and leaving money on the table, so to speak.
