How to buy a used car;

Friday, May 27th, 2011

Buying a used car is a good idea if you are looking to save money on insurance and the cost of the vehicle. Whether you are buying a used car for the first time from a Honda Dealership MD you should be aware of all of the costs of buying a used car as well as what to look out for when buying a used car. There are several great used car models to choose from at a Honda Dealership Seattle and you should pick the best model that fits your needs. Also check out your local Montgomery Nissan dealership for other high quality used vehicles.

With over 2 million car accidents per year there is a good chance that the vehicle that you select may have been involved in an auto accident. The only way to determine this is by speaking to the previous owner and asking if the vehicle has been involved in an accident or by getting a vehicle history report. If you just rely on what the previous owner says you might be mislead, so your best bet is to purchase a vehicle history report. You should also learn everything that you can about the car including how many previous owners it had, its maintenance history, any mechanical problems, and of course if the car has been involved in any accidents.

Try to find the best car that will fit your needs before you do your research, and narrow down your search to a few used car models. You can buy a used car from several places like used car dealerships, rental car companies, and through private party buyers. Also dealerships sell new and used cars in most cases. You should be aware that some dealers will use car classifieds to sell their vehicles. There are also some who post their cars to web sites as well

More buyers are becoming fuel economy conscious;

Monday, March 14th, 2011

More buyers are now looking to save money on gas costs with their new vehicle purchases, and several automakers like Ford have listened to these new consumer demands and released “greener” models which can be found at Pennsylvania Ford Dealers. Gasoline prices have recently jumped very quickly, and more people are worried about future jumps in gas prices. Fuel efficient models can also be found at Ford Dealers Philadelphia such as the Ford Fusion and the Ford Focus. Many companies offer both fuel economical models and models with higher horsepower or larger models.

Toyota is offering both hybrid and regular gasoline models for various consumer markets, like the Prius which can be purchased from Minneapolis Toyota, but the trend is moving toward hybrid and green models as being more popular vehicles. Nearly two thirds of shoppers are now looking for fuel efficient vehicles in many markets, and sales in February of 2011 showed that buyers are preferring smaller vehicles such as subcompact models and crossovers . Vehicles with smaller engines or less powerful engines that are better on gas are also preferred by most buyers, and this trend may continue if gas prices continue to rise. More people are also looking at cars rather than SUVs or trucks than before.

The Prius hybrid had a record February with increased demand in many markets including the United States. Ford and GM have maintained strong sales of hybrid and subcompact models. These companies did not have a strong presence in the small vehicle market for many years but have now released models which are strong competitors in this market such as the Ford Focus and the Chevy Equinox. Although demand is shifting, most dealerships are not changing their inventories too quickly as many dealers already have cars on their lots that are green or appealing to those looking for a model with good fuel economy.

Both Toyota and Nissan are Japanese companies which have brought innovation, technology, style and reliability to the automobile industry. Which Would You Choose?

Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

The Chevy Cobalt at Chevrolet Dealer Chicago, is a really fun car to drive and is very inexpensive. It boasts solid fuel economy and is available with one of the nicest stereo systems found in this price range. The down side, is that many reviewers find that the seats in the cobalt arent very comfortable. The VW Beetle is known to have more space and comfortablility than this Cobalt. The Cobalt is small inside, with very little rear seat space for adults.  Hard seats in front and back are usually complained about and its styling looks that are most like other small cars. For 2010, the Chevy Cobalt comes as a two door coupe or four door sedan in LS, LT and performance tuned SS Turbo trims.  A “bare bones” trim, the LS XFE, has better fuel economy than other Cobalts. One incentive to take a closer look at the Cobalt is that until November 1, GM is offering a 60 day money back guarantee on all Cadillac, Chevy, Buick, and GMC vehicles. You should also be sure to check for other current Chevy deals that may be available on a new Cobalt at Service Center Bradenton. The passenger cabin of the 2010 Chevy Cobalt is great on entertainment, but not so good on comfortablility.

The 2011 VW Jetta at Phoenix Certified Volkswagen, now has some of the latest safety features. It comes with the anti lock braking system (ABS), hydraulic brake assist (HBA), electronic stability control (ESC), anti intrusion side impact door beams, and daytime running lights. It comes standard with driver and front passenger airbags. Driver and front passenger side thorax airbags, and driver and front passenger side curtain airbags. For safety to fit all passengers of any size, it has the 3 point safety belts in all seating positions with emergency lock retractors, front and rear out board pretension with load limiters, front height adjustment, and rear center safety belt interlock. For child safety, it comes with the rear seat Lower Anchors and Tethers for children, also known as the LATCH system. The VW Jetta also comes with child safety rear door locks, tire pressure monitoring system, collapsible steering column, a trunk escape handle, and dual note horn.

Scion Sales Are In a Slump

Thursday, October 7th, 2010

What used to be a really popular car has left its loyal fans disappointed and wanting more.  Scion was introduced back in 2004 as a cheaper and more hip version of Toyota.  There may be tons of Ford Discounts Hampton right now, but Scion needs to remember that and focus their efforts on returning to what made them popular in the first place; their quirky design.  Given the popularity among young drivers, hopefully too many didn’t wreck their cars; you can always turn to Collision Center Renton if you did!

Just like Lincoln Body Service in Millville is known for their relatively affordable luxury vehicles, Scion is known for producing affordable and unique vehicles.  This marketing tactic really appeals to the younger drivers who don’t want a basic boring sedan to drive but also don’t have an excess of money to spend.  The original Scion was the boxy xB; it was soon copy-catted by the Nissan Cube and Kia Soul.  But, for the first two years of Scion’s life, their sales were soaring.  Perhaps once the newness of the Kia Soul fades away the Scion brand will be able to resume its spot in the limelight.

Currently, there are three cars in the line up; xD, xB, and tC.  The tC makes up 40% of the total sales for the brand, and its sports car design is relatively timeless.  As Toyota dealerships go above and beyond usual efforts to try to sell the Scion vehicles on their lots, they are hoping that some new inventory and design might help their efforts.  The eco-conscious Scion iQ will be released in Spring of 2011 and is a larger version of the Smart ForTwo, but manages to carry a third passenger in the backseat.  Scion really needs to stick with what they know and return to their unique designs that made them popular in the first place.

Small Cars: The Way of the Future

Saturday, September 11th, 2010

The next time you go car shopping you are going to notice a common trend; the vehicles seem to be getting smaller!  Of course Vineland Ford still offers their popular Explorer line up, but the Ford Escape and hybrid model are gaining popularity in sales as people decide they want something that is a bit easier on the wallet and the environment.  It is a rule of thumb, for the most part, that the smaller the car the less fuel it will use.  It goes without saying that this rule does not apply to high sport performance vehicles.  There is a great selection of fuel efficient cars from Philadelphia Hyundai, and the Hyundai brand name has gained a reputation for quality and high resale value.

For buyers that don’t want to pay full sticker price on a brand new car, they should go to a dealership like Salt Lake City Used Cars.  There are plenty of options there that won’t break the bank.  But, part of the perks of buying a small car is that they typically cost less.  There are a handful of cars out there that will cost you less than $15,000.  Plus, these cars have great safety ratings, are fun to drive, come with a nice list of standard features, and will save you a ton of money at the fuel pumps.

More and more manufacturers are turning their attention towards creating a great small car.  The current compact leader is the Honda Fit.  It comes with these super cool back row seats that fold down completely flat so you have a ton of room for cargo.  Plus, it has ten cup holders throughout the vehicle!  Drivers love the little extras that auto brands are putting into their vehicle.  Even the base model Chevy Aveo has an auxiliary jack but no CD player; who listens to CDs anymore anyways?

Tips on Buying Used Vehicles:

Friday, July 30th, 2010

Before you buy any where make sure you check out all of the amazing deals at VW Dealer along with their amazing line up of vehicles. Also make sure you check out all of the great deals and low prices at Philadelphia Ford Dealers along with there amazing line up of vehicles. Getting the best deal possible is a little hard no matter how you are buying your new vehicle. Nine times out of ten you will lose money on a deal if you don’t look at the fine print. Everything comes into play when you are buying a vehicle. The interest rates alone can get you to pay twice as much then what the vehicle is worth. Keep in mind to check out all of the great deals at Cincinnati Chevrolet Service.

When you are buying a new vehicle you need to read the fine print it doesn’t matter is if it is new or used. When you buy a used car you are taking a bigger risk, and if you buy new you run the risk of losing a lot of money.

Keep in mind that the sales representatives are there to take and make your money. It is their job to talk fast to get you lost. The more figures they start talking the better they can make it sound. Their job is to get you to sign the first contract they offer, but before you do take a look at it. If you don’t know anything about contracts bring some one who does with you.

Over all if you are buying new or used you run a risk of some type, and nine times out of ten you will get scammed if you are not careful. It doesn’t matter if you are buying new our used you have to read the fine print. Make your money work for you not the other way around.
