Who Wouldn’t Want A Hybrid?

Friday, October 29th, 2010

Chevrolet Dayton is offering the 2010 Silverado 1500-Hybrid. This vehicle combines improved fuel economy with truck capabilities. It is perfect for stop and go drivers because this truck can run on electric power alone at slow speeds and the engine will automatically shut off when stopped in traffic. And compared to gas only vehicles, this hybrid has a 40% increase in the city which gives it the gas mileage as a midsized vehicle.

The Silverado hybrid also has a 3 year/36,000 mile basic warranty and a 5 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty. The electric components of the hybrid (batteries, motors and computers) are covered by a 8 year/100,000 mile warranty.

Located near Sarasota Used Car Dealer are the new 2011 Chevrolet Volts. This vehicle is not a hybrid nor is it a purely electric car. It is actually an electric car with a gasoline powered generator which will kick in when the battery becomes low. You are able to charge the vehicle from a wall outlet at your home and you will be able to travel up to 40 miles on electric power alone. That’s further than most people drive in a single day. The Volt battery also will carry an eight year/100,000 mile warranty.

The only bad things that have been said about the 2011 Chevy Volt is that it only will seat four, has a tiny trunk and will cost you at least one arm and a leg.

Now the all new 2011 Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid, which can be found at any Phoenix Certified Volkswagen, is another great hybrid SUV. It’s transition from gasoline to electric power is hardly noticeable. This vehicle has the ability to coast after the engine has shut down. And even though the engine has shut down all the systems, like power steering, will still work using solely electric power.

The Touareg hybrid is going to be equipped with a 3.0 supercharged V6 engine paired with an electric motor. The Touareg is also estimated to get 21 miles in the city and 25 on the highway. This vehicle is expected to come with three years/36,000 miles basic warranty and a five year/60,000 mile powertrain warranty. They also provide a no-charge scheduled maintenance program for three years or 36,000 miles.

10 States to Avoid on Road-Trips!

Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

We all know what its like when you have to take your car to collision center Cedar Park. What none of us enjoy is when we are on a road-trip and we have to take it there, whether we have Cleo Bay Honda coupons or not. One way to avoid these troublesome events is by avoiding situations and other drivers that can create it a reality. Doing so, will make your Nissan discounts Trenton worth all the while.

That is why by choosing four categories (gas prices, insurance rates, infrastructure/safety, and legal protections), and altering certain criteria, we have found ten states that you will want to steer-clear of completely.

These are the top ten worst states to drive in, and why:

1. California–High gasoline and automotive insurance costs, poor legal protections for drivers, and heavy highway congestion that no one would want to be caught dead in!

2. Illinois–Lowest rank for legal protections, and low scores in gas prices, insurance rates, and infrastructure/safety as well.

3. New York–Expensive road maintenance costs and literally no legal motorist protections for the sacrafice!

4. Michigan–Second highest insurance rates out of all states.

5. Alaska–Horrible and dangerous roads, giving it is a next-to-worst rating for infrastructure/safety and second highest gasoline prices.

6. Maryland–Bad ranks both in driver legal protections (third) and infrastructure/safety (eighth).

7. Connecticut (tie)–Bottom scores out of three of four of the criteria: insurance rates, gas prices, and infrastructure/safety.

7. Rhode Island (tie)–Below average in: gas prices, insurance rates, and legal protection and bottom spot in infrastructure/safety.

9. Louisiana–Worst legal environment for drivers (fourth), and high insurance rates.

10. Washington–Low legal protections and high gas prices.

With all the worst states taken into consideration, it is pretty clear that you would not want to travel into these states, but if you do–take caution and heed warnings about what makes it one of the top ten worst states to drive in!

Which Would You Choose?

Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

The Chevy Cobalt at Chevrolet Dealer Chicago, is a really fun car to drive and is very inexpensive. It boasts solid fuel economy and is available with one of the nicest stereo systems found in this price range. The down side, is that many reviewers find that the seats in the cobalt arent very comfortable. The VW Beetle is known to have more space and comfortablility than this Cobalt. The Cobalt is small inside, with very little rear seat space for adults.  Hard seats in front and back are usually complained about and its styling looks that are most like other small cars. For 2010, the Chevy Cobalt comes as a two door coupe or four door sedan in LS, LT and performance tuned SS Turbo trims.  A “bare bones” trim, the LS XFE, has better fuel economy than other Cobalts. One incentive to take a closer look at the Cobalt is that until November 1, GM is offering a 60 day money back guarantee on all Cadillac, Chevy, Buick, and GMC vehicles. You should also be sure to check for other current Chevy deals that may be available on a new Cobalt at Service Center Bradenton. The passenger cabin of the 2010 Chevy Cobalt is great on entertainment, but not so good on comfortablility.

The 2011 VW Jetta at Phoenix Certified Volkswagen, now has some of the latest safety features. It comes with the anti lock braking system (ABS), hydraulic brake assist (HBA), electronic stability control (ESC), anti intrusion side impact door beams, and daytime running lights. It comes standard with driver and front passenger airbags. Driver and front passenger side thorax airbags, and driver and front passenger side curtain airbags. For safety to fit all passengers of any size, it has the 3 point safety belts in all seating positions with emergency lock retractors, front and rear out board pretension with load limiters, front height adjustment, and rear center safety belt interlock. For child safety, it comes with the rear seat Lower Anchors and Tethers for children, also known as the LATCH system. The VW Jetta also comes with child safety rear door locks, tire pressure monitoring system, collapsible steering column, a trunk escape handle, and dual note horn.

Who Ranked #1 In Affordable Compact SUVs?

Monday, October 25th, 2010

Now available at Phoenix Peoria Volkswagen, are the new 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan.  They were ranked 5 out of 24 Affordable Compact SUVs.  They offer a pretty standard warranty.  The vehicle comes with a three year/36,000 mile basic warranty, a five year/60,000 mile powertrain warranty and not to mention Volkswagen provides a free maintenance program, similar to the maintenance program offered at Mazda Tire.

The Tiguan also received five stars for occupant protection in all seating positions in both frontal and side crash tests.  They also received four stars on rollover tests.  The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the Tiguan one of it’s top ratings of “Good” for frontal offset and side impact tests.  They also received Top Scores in rear crash protection and roof strength tests.

2011 Tiguan has eight air-bags.  They include front, side thorax and side curtain protection for the front seat passenger and driver.  This vehicle is also equipped with Anti-Slip Regulations, Electronic Differential Lock, Engine Braking Control, Electronic Brake Pressure Distribution and Volkswagen Electronic Stabilization Control.

Now the 2011 Chevy Equinox, which can be found at Washington DC Chevrolet,  was ranked number 1 out 0f 24 Affordable Compact SUVs.  They offer a three year/36,000 mile basic warranty as well as a transferable five year/100,000 miler powertrain warranty and roadside assistance.

The 2011 model has yet to be tested, but is nearly identical to the 2010 model.  The 2010 model received five stars in frontal and side crash tests.  They also received four stars in rollover tests.  The Insurance Institute of Highway Safety gave the 2010 model Top Scores of “Good” in front, side and rear crash protection tests.  They also received a rating of “Good” in roof strength as well.

The 2011 Equinox comes standard with dual-stage frontal air-bags; thorax side impact air-bags; seat mounted driver and front passenger air-bags; and head curtain air-bags for outboard seating positions.  They also have four wheel anti-lock brakes; StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System; Traction Control System; Brake Assistance and OnStar Automatic Crash Response and Emergency Services.  A rearview camera and rear parking assistance are optional on the LT models but they come standard on the LTZ models.

Both vehicles are excellent vehicles to purchase, Even though the Tiguan is a little bit more expensive than the Equinox, the Equinox has a few more safety features and a few more warranty options, not to mention they were ranked #1!!

10 Cars That Avoid Sirens:

Thursday, October 21st, 2010

When the familiar blue and red lights come on behind our car, we all usually wish the same thing–that what is about to happen, isn’t really going to happen. What we do not usually know is that cars at great dealerships like Executive Kia can do just that. Most people think of all of the cars that are most likely to get the tickets, and who are the likely candidates based on gender, race, and age. What we do not think of is that simply looking over certain cars in Colorado Springs Honda Dealers inventories could save us more sanity than not!

Of course places like Wallingford Honda Car Loans would have to approve you, but for people who have quite a lead-foot–there could be a solution! Most people like the cars that are sporty, or compact, or even pick colors that would raise too much attention. With certain cars, there just are not very many red flags thrown up in the officers mind based on the realization that most of these cars are driven by an elder generation–one that generally stays out of trouble! While not all of the cars on this top ten list are the most gorgeous gems you could find, they’re not exactly hideous either. In fact, some cars could save you money and time in research and help you avoid many inconvenient run-ins with the law enforcement!

The top ten vehicles that save you from speeding tickets are:

1. Buick Rainer SUV

2. Mazda Tribute SUV

3. Chevrolet C/K-3500/2500 pick-up

4. Kia Spectra Sedan

5. Buick Lacrosse Sedan

6. Saturn Aura Hybrid Sedan

7. Oldsmobile Silhouette minivan

8. Chevrolet Uplander Minivan

9. Hyundai Tuscon SUV

10. Pontiac Vibe Crossover

As you may have noticed, if you stop by any General Motors (GM) dealer, you may see seven out of ten of these cars sitting on the lot somewhere. While they may not be the absolute best, most of them are dependable cars that deserve to be given a chance for review. If you are not happy with them, you do not have to get them–but you might just be surprised if you don’t find yourself finding any pleasant surprises with these vehicles!

Time to Lease a Kia!

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

Leasing cars from the inventory at Chattanooga Nissan Dealers can be a huge source of income for dealerships.  They lend out their vehicles while receiving monthly payments in addition to that hefty down payment and then have them returned in three years in excellent condition.  Plus, dealerships like San Diego Ford Dealers are able to turn around and sell that lease-return at a handsome price as a used car.  If a vehicle has a high residual value, then the dealerships are able to get even more money out of the used car.

With Fort Worth Used Car Dealers having a decline in their inventory because people aren’t trading their cars in for new ones as frequently as a few years ago, leasing is a handsome alternative.  Granted, you can’t lease out a used car, but encouraging people to lease will help the dealership make money as well as help the consumer who might be in a financially tight situation.  Lease payments, when there is an incentive or special running, are typically less than monthly payments on a loan.  For people who are in a financial transition period, leasing for three years might help them get back on their feet so they are in a position to buy.

The folks over at your local Kia dealership are finally starting to see an increase in the amount of people leasing their vehicles.  As their reputation for quality craftsmanship continues to rise, people are becoming more and more likely to lease a vehicle from Kia.  The new 2011 Kia Sportage helped increase the amount of people leasing vehicles from Kia.  It is already estimated that the Sportage will have a residual value of 61% of its original value in three years, meaning it will have a good resale value.  If people lease vehicles and return them at the end of three years, it will help increase the inventory of used cars.

The Latest on the 2011 Scion Tc

Monday, October 18th, 2010

Need a more fuel efficient car? The 2011 Scion Tc is a good car to consider. Much like the Honda Accord Coupe Chesterfield, the Scion gets 23 city miles per gallon, and 31 highway miles per gallon. With its midranged powered engine, this 2.5 liter engine is now more powerful and fuel efficient. It produces 180 horsepower and 173lb-ft of torque. The Scion Tc can accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in just 7.6 seconds for a manual and half a second less for the automatic. This little car is priced at $19,000 which is better for your wallet than the BMW 328i coupe that you can find at any BMW Burbank near you.

The Scion Tc is very spacious and contains a fair amount of storage space. With the exception of gas mileage, the Tc is close in comparison to the Ford Focus coupe at  Ford dealers near Harrisburg. The Tc is considered to be either the second generation Tc or the ninth generation of the Toyota Celica. It attracts mostly younger buyers with its sporty coupe style. This car is equipped with a new engine and a 6-speed transmission, it has been a sub brand success for Toyota, and best selling Scion of them all. With its unchanged formula and basic structure, the Scion represents 40 years of Toyota’s “single minded pursuit”.

This 2011 Scion is now more comfortable and spacious than any other Scion coupe. Not only does it have a powered moon roof, but now the front seats are wider for more comfort, and has back seats that have the ability to recline up to 10 degrees, or fold down for making your packing needs easier. With its up to date technology, the Tc comes with three available stereo head units and plays through a 300-watt audio system. You can find 8 speakers and a single slot cd/mp3/wma player, and is standard with an aux jack and USB port located on the center console.

As for the appearance of this car, its is a hatch back styled coupe and has a more edgy look than the outgoing models. All though the edgy look pertains more to the back on the rear bumper cover, the front has more of a slightly sloped look, which differs from the older models of Tc’s. The car still rides on the same 106.3 inch wheel base, stretches out to the same 174.0 inches in length and stands the same 55.7 inches tall. The brakes on the Tc include ventilated discs in front, and solid rear discs in the back.

2010 Car Sales Still Down From 2007;

Saturday, October 16th, 2010

Sales for 2010 vehicles in the United States is better than 2009 but still down from 2007. Vehicles sold in the United States have had a rough past few years since the economy tanked in late 2008. Yuma Nissan Dealerships and other dealerships have seen fewer sales than they have seen in the years between 2000 and 2007. Consumer confidence has been low and the availability of credit has been minimal at best. Santa Ana Toyota Dealers have been selling more models with recent measures. Recent new measures have expanded credit to some more customers, but credit for auto loans and other types of credit remains difficult to obtain unless a person has a good credit score. However, some places like Pittsburgh Bad Credit Auto Loan offer loans to people with less than perfect credit.

Car industry analysts are not sure how the next three months of the year will pan out. Many are predicting that there will be 11 to 11.5 million sales for 2010. Most previously predicted that there would be 12.2 million sales before September, however the rate of sales has been lower than expected, and it would take a large surge of sales toward the end of the year for this to happen. 2007 was the last year for 9 consecutive sales years of 16 million or more vehicles.

The large drop off from this number was certainly not expected, and as a result the auto industry was hit hard as many other industries were. However, the White House has noted that the auto industry has showed resilience to this recession, and that many jobs that were lost were regained in the United States at the Big Three. Sales in 2007 were 16.2 million and for this year’s estimate of 11.5 million, that number would be 29 percent below that. It would probably take several years to reach those numbers again, and no one is expecting the auto industry to reach those numbers anytime soon.

BMW Improves Fuel Economy in 7 Series

Friday, October 15th, 2010

You may have already taken the brand new luxury Genesis from Arlington Hyundai for a test drive, but if you haven’t, make sure you check out all the available luxury cars before making a decision.  There are some great bargains at Nissan Service Virginia, but something new to the U.S. line up comes from BMW.  They are bringing back the six cylinder engine to their 7 Series.  While it isn’t available yet, for $70,150, interested buyers can check their local dealerships sometime this coming spring.

Similar to the strategy at Morton Chevrolet Dealerships, American drivers requested an increased in miles per gallon, and BMW had to respond.  It has been about twenty years or so since an inline-six cylinder engine has been an option on the powerful 7 Series.  Available in five trim levels for the 2011 line up, drivers can choose from a six cylinder, a hybrid model, a V8, and the largest V12.  Plus, the 750 model can come with xDrive, which is BMW’s all-wheel drive technology.  The available trim levels include 740i, 740Li, 750i, 750Li, and 760Li; the Li refers to an extended wheelbase for the body style.  We are focusing on the 740 models, because they feature the new inline-six.

The 740i and 740Li makes 315 horsepower from its twin-turbo inline-six.  This attractive sedan can go from 0-60 mph in only 5.8 seconds, which is faster than some of the older V8 model 7Series that are on the roads today.  North American drivers are really excited about the improved fuel economy.  Standard features on the 740i and 740Li include leather interior, keyless ignition and entry, four-zone climate control, xenon headlights, and parking sensors in the front and the back.  Convenience features include a 12GB in-dash hard drive for media storage, built in navigation with real-time traffic updates, and a superb sound system with two subwoofers.

Two Reasons Why Gas Prices Are On The Rise!

Tuesday, October 12th, 2010

Body Shop New Bedford might not be the only place your pouring your money into to keep your car running. Instead, you just might find yourself at Ford CA trying to find a much better gas-saver before the next gas-whiplash era occurs.

So what is it that has you wanting to send your gas-guzzling car to Collision repair seaside to make it a much more affordable gas-guzzler? It all starts with what gasoline and oil industry analysts say could be another spike in the industries. The proof of such an awful possibility correlates with the average price starting off at $2.80 on Sunday, being 32.6 cents more then the same time last year. That’s the priciest it has been since May! It doesn’t stop there–crude oil prices have also jumped up 4.2% this year as well!

What is responsible for all of this, you ask? There are two large culprits:

1) Unsubstantial currency: Crude oil can become cheaper for buyer using stronger currencies. However, when the dollar does not hold much value then the oil prices rise and then cause the base gasoline prices to rise to help better cushion the profit/loss ratio for crude oil buyers. With crude oil prices at an averaged $82.66, they have been 11% higher then mid-September and even the heating oil future prices have been up 7% right around the same time!

2) USA Gasoline Refineries: Refineries are operating at a lower capacity due to the routine maintenance that they have to complete. In fact, at the end of last month the USA gasoline refineries were operating at 83.1% capacity, which is the lowest rate that they have operated at since the end of March.

While the overall demand for gasoline remains weak compared to what it used to be, most analysts expect gasoline prices to be “essentially static” for the rest of working year.
