Test-Drive Tips!

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

Car shopping does not have to be the most stressful time of your life.  There is plenty of advice available to help you make a great decision.  One of the most critical times during the process at Pittsburgh Nissan Dealers is when it comes time for the test drive.  You have already done some research and comparisons, and now you need to make sure you like how the vehicle performs.  Of course, you want to take advantage of the Volkswagen Specials going on right now, but make sure you really loved everything about that car you just took for a test drive before you commit to buy.  Places like NC Ford Dealer and other large dealerships don’t offer a “cool down” period; once you buy, that sale is pretty much final!

You can expect the car salesman to accompany you on your first test drive.  Keep in mind that all places are different, and the experience you had with one salesman might be different from the experience you had with another salesman at the same lot on a different day.  They will likely ask you for your license and then you will sign a test drive permit of some kind.  Some places require proof of your insurance.  If the salesman accompanies you on the test drive, take advantage of that time to ask them specific things you notice while you are driving.

Typically, the salesman will drive the car off the lot and then take you on a predetermined route.  You should get to experience stop and go, hills, and highway driving conditions during your test drive.  While the salesman is driving, take note of your surroundings from the passenger seat.  It can always be a bit uncomfortable to drive a different vehicle for only a short amount of time, so you will want to familiarize yourself with as much as you can before you actually are in the driver’s seat.

When it is your turn, take some time again to adjust everything for your specific needs.  Look at all the control features.  Then, make sure you play around a bit while you are driving.  You need to know how the car performs for quick stops and swerving maneuvers.

Insurance $aving Tips

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

Buying a car is an investment that is pretty much just a part of life. Unless you live in a big city and can rely solely on public transportation, you have to bite the bullet and whip out your wallet at least a couple times in your life. Whether you are going to visit a FL Chevrolet Dealer to check out some of their top rated SUVs or swing by an Arizona VW Dealership to look at their fuel efficient diesel engine vehicles, make sure you do some budget homework to know what you can afford. Simply visiting Lake Havasu Nissan Dealers and finding your dream car is not the end of the story; taxes, licensing, maintenance, and insurance. Keep reading to find out how you can do a few simple things to hopefully save yourself some cash when paying for your auto insurance.

Look at some of the vehicles you are contemplating purchasing. If they are brand new, you are going to have to carry full coverage because the loan company requires it. If you buy a sports car or expensive model, your rates are likely to be higher because it is going to cost the insurance company more from their pocket to fix or replace your vehicle should it come to that.

Make sure you take some time to shop around. The internet can be an invaluable resource, so take advantage of it. Many sites even offer you the ability to compare different company pricing so you can at least weed out some of the more expensive ones before having to make a lot of phone calls for quotes.

Make sure you ask the company you end up going with about any and all available discounts that they are offering. If your vehicle comes equipped with daytime running lights or some sort of anti-theft device, you are likely to receive a discount.

And remember that insurance is prorated, so you never lose out on money should you need to cancel a policy and go with a lower rate.  Plus, take a lesson from the vehicle price negotiating you just did and tell your current insurance company you were offered a lower rate and see if they can match it before you cancel and switch.

Microsoft: UVO vs Sync

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

Car shoppers should visit KSMO used car loans if they are wanting to get a 2011 Edge or Sportage; the new technology is likely to increase their prices!  Despite all the Peoria VW Deals going on right now, it is unlikely you will find these brand new models on the showroom floor.  Ford teamed up with Microsoft when they created their Sync technology.  The latest development that Ford drivers will find is in the 2011 Ford Edge and it is called MyFord Touch.  Drivers have touch screen access to control many of the convenience features of the vehicle, such as climate control, audio entertainment, and navigation.  Plus, critical information about the vehicle’s performance will be displayed with touch access rather than the in-dash area near the speedometer.  Engineers hope that the system will be wireless enabled so that drivers can access popular applications, such as Pandora.  If that all sounds too high-tech for you, go to Toyota Los Angeles and look at their reliable vehicle line-up.

Kia teamed up with Microsoft to create the UVO technology that will roll out with the 2011 Sportage line.  This system is not as capable as Sync, but picky consumers should remember that this is the first attempt Kia has made at a multimedia platform.  Its initial model is equipped to play and rip CDs, receive satellite radio and HD radio, hands-free phone answering, and voice operated control.  The UVO system has been in the works since March of 2006 but the first version that will be released to consumers offers a rather small LCD screen, smaller than most cars in-dash navigation screens.  Plus, drivers have to choose between navigation or infotainment UVO system; both platforms are not available together…yet!  It is reported that the voice recognition that is available with Kia is far superior compared to its predecessor Sync.  The two differ with voice control in that Sync drivers have to navigate through a system of controls to reach the desired action.  With UVO, you can just say a name after activating the system from the steering wheel control button.  However, Sync offers the ability to recognize a wide array of words while UVO can only recognize a predetermined list of words and phrases.

Other infotainment media systems include the Fiat Blue&Me and GM OnStar.  Remember also that cell phone and media technology changes more rapidly than automotive mechanic technology.

Chevy Summer Sales are Rising!

Monday, July 19th, 2010

Peoria VW dealership in Arizona might have amazing deals on their line-up, but the real focus and buzz among auto industry officials has to do with American made Chevrolet!  Bradenton Chevy can verify the recent statistics that their sales even for the first month of summer are on a steep increase.  For the month of June 2010, sales were reportedly 11% higher than June of 2009.  Chevrolet Hartford can’t be complaining about that news!

This news does not stop at the dealerships.  Chevrolet’s success can be traced all the way back to the factory, where production is up by 32% compared to summer last year.  Chevrolet had 141,381 units delivered to dealerships across the nation, just in June!  That is 32% more vehicles being put on the lots than last year.  The success of the newly redesigned Chevy Equinox is responsible for some of the increased popularity and demand.  Other popular models in the 2010 line-up include the Malibu, Traverse, and Silverado.  There have been steady news headlines about Ford Motor Company receiving awards for their vehicle quality improvement over the recent years.  This sales and production increase of Chevrolet should forecast some industry awards for the American company in the near future.  In fact, June’s increased sales figures are a continuation of nine months of higher numbers compared to the prior year’s figures.

Sales of the Equinox have increased by 180% since last year.  Buyers can have a hard time even finding an Equinox for purchase at their local lot.  The Chevrolet Malibu sales have gone up by 81% since June 2009.  The popular Traverse model has increased their sales for June by 56% compared to last year, and it is predicted that sales are only going to continue to increase.  Despite increasing amounts of competition entering the market on a continuous basis, Americans tend to have brand loyalty and want to do their part to strengthen our country’s economy.

How to buy new?

Friday, July 16th, 2010

When you are buying a new car make sure you check out all the great cars and amazing deals at Mazda New York. Also when you are buying new make sure you check out the fuel efficient F-series at any Ford Dealership. How to buy a new car seems easy right? Not as easy as you think. Sales representatives are there to take your money not help you. Keep in mind what you need to have in a vehicle, and what you want in a vehicle. Don’t fall for the trick where they try to get you to upgrade features. Any upgrades do add on to the price tag. Keep in mind that you also need to check out all the amazing deals on modern luxury at Peoria Volkswagen.

When you step on the car lot you become a target, and the sales representatives are there to take your money. Keep in mind that the first trick that they will use is talking fast. The faster they talk the more you get lost. They will bring in a lot of figures to make sure you get lost.

The more figures they talk the more money they can make off of you. Remember not to sign anything with out going over it. Do not take the word of any one when you are buying a new car. Don’t skim over the contract read all of it.

After that you need to look at the interest rates. There is really no point to buy a vehicle for 20,000 and then the interest rates get you for another 5,000. When you are buying a new car make sure that you are good with numbers. If you are bad with numbers bring pen and paper and work it out, or bring some one who is. This is your money make it work for you not the other way around.

What car to buy?

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

What car to buy? The perfect car or truck for you can be anything from the F-series to the amazing cars and deals at Peoria Volkswagen! Is it the new Ford out on the market or the used Chevy out on the lot. The same question comes up, and here are some tips on how to pick the right one. Keep in mind to also check out all the amazing deals and cars Mazda New York!

It does not matter if you are buying used or new. You need to pick the right car for you, because you are going to be stuck with it for a long while. On the other hand you are going to want to make sure that the car you are buying is fuel efficient. You want to save money on the price tag, and at the gas pumps.

Saving money is the first thing you want to do. The next thing on your list should be make sure the car is reliable. Make sure that the used car that you want runs with out any problems, and if you buy new check the recall list.

After safety you are going to want to check out features. The newer model cars give you all the newest features for a higher price all at once, but make sure you check out the used cars. Many used cars offer you basic features, but anything else you want can be added one piece at a time.

When you are buying new or used go over the interior. Make sure that it is the material you want, and make sure everything works if you are buying used. This means check the radio and the window controls.

Over all the car that you should but is the one that works. The car that works, and has the spark you want is the car you should buy. It doesn’t matter if you are buying new, or used you can get a great deal on the price tag and at the gas pumps.

A Look at the Infiniti M.

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

Infiniti Prices for the 2010 Infiniti M start out at $45,800 and you can get a fully loaded model for $54,650.  Those prices might compared to some of the VW Deals that are always being offered, but Infiniti is known for their exquisite luxury and making consumers feel inspired by driving their vehicles.  This large luxury car ranks second in its class according to U.S. News vehicle rankings.  This large vehicle is able to get 17 mpg around town and 25 mpg on the highway.  If that fuel economy is not to your liking, remember that you are buying a large car.  Or, you can always buy your next vehicle from Ford Edmonton, as they offer a wide selection of fuel efficient vehicles and hybrid models.

If you are shopping for the Infiniti M, make sure you take some time to test drive some of its rivals to make sure you are getting a good fit.  The Lexus GS and Acura RL are both luxury cars, but reviews suggest that they offer the driver more comfort, especially if you are using your vehicle to commute every day.  Unlike Lexus, the Infiniti M does not insulate the driver from the road while they are inside the cabin.  Rather, the driver is fully engaged by the sports car engine.  If you are interested in the Infiniti M because of its sports car appeal, it is suggested that you test drive the BMW 5-Series.

The Infiniti M comes as the M35 trim and offers a V6 engine.  The M45 trim offers a V8 engine.  They both come standard with rear-wheel drive, and there is the optional Sport edition.  The X model gives drivers all-wheel drive.  The exterior has a modern design, but the overall image has not changed since it was first offered in 2005; drivers can expect a redesign for the 2011 model.

What car not to buy?

Monday, July 12th, 2010

Picking out the right car for you is hard, and picking out a good car to buy is worse so make sure you check out all the amazing deals at Greensboro Used Nissans!  The car not to buy is mostly easy to pick out, but some times it is a bit harder then that. If a car has hidden problems you  may never know it in till it’s to late. Make sure that when you buy a car you go to a respectable dealership like Manchester Used Cars, and make sure you check out all the great reliable and respectable cars at Peoria VW.

The car not to buy is the flashy one with only half a history. If you are trying to get a good and reliable car then  you may need to check out all your options. Look for a practical car that gives you a smooth ride, but at the same time you can look for one with a little more power and edge to it.

The car you want to get is the one with a full history report, and one that runs with out any major problems. Make sure you always check out the engine, and all other parts of the car. Think in terms of what you need in stead of what you want when you are buying a used car. Some times you have to go for the practical car over the muscle car. You want a car that is not going to cost you more in the long run.

Over all the car not to buy is the one you see sitting there for over a year. There is a reason no one buys it. When you are looking for a car make sure you look at all your options don’t be fooled by a shiny car that wont run very far.
